Brisbane Fiesta Latina is a Culture, Food & Music Festival created and organised by LACA QLD (Latin American Community of Australia (QLD) Inc.) to celebrate and share Latin-American culture with the wider community in Queensland. Launched in 2011, every year the event offers Brisbane’s multicultural society the diversity and liveliness of Latin-American culture.
Brisbane Fiesta Latina is an opportunity to embrace the cultural and artistic expression from all Latin America through language, dance, music, arts and food. It aims to strengthen our identity as Latin Americans and build community ties while embracing the cultural diversity of Brisbane’s society.
The festival features many activities including traditional folkloric dancing, live music, food, arts and crafts, language and dancing workshops, activities for children, artistic expressions among others. On this occasion we have prepared a whole week of celebrations in different venues around Brisbane as well as a series of online events for a wide range of audiences.
